Carlotta Steinkamp is a documentary photographer based in Hannover, Germany.
After finishing her matura in Düsseldorf in 2016, she did a voluntary year in the media centre of the district Viersen in Northrhine-Westphalia, where she was mostly working on filming and cutting image and documentary films.
She is currently studying Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography at Hochschule Hannover. Her focus in photography lies on covering personal as well as political issues of mostly her generation. Thereby she often works very close with the people she portrays and includes collaborative work in her projects.
Carlotta is a member of FREELENS e.V. and Fotobus Society
